The Beautiful Blue Star Meditation
The Gateway to Theta Brain Function
THETA WAVES Theta waves (4-7 cps) occur in sleep and are dominant in our highest state of meditation. We normally only experience theta waves as we drift off to sleep, during some dreaming, and as we return from the depths of delta sleep. The pictures we perceive as we drift off and awaken are in theta wave. During theta wave meditations, we are in a waking dream where vivid imagery flashes before our inner vision. In this state, we are extremely receptive to information sent from the higher dimensions.
The Shamanic State of Consciousness, which is theta brainwaves, allows us to journey into the higher planes. The steady-rhythmic beat of the drum struck four and one-half times per second (theta waves are 4-7 cps) is the key to transporting a shaman into the deepest part of his or her Shamanic trance. The constant and rhythmic-drone of Tibetan Buddhist chants that transport the monks and other listeners into realms of blissful meditation also follow this rhythm.
Theta waves have also been identified as the gateway to learning and memory. Theta meditation increases creativity, enhances learning, reduces stress and awakens intuition as well as other extrasensory perception skills. Theta consciousness allows us to connect with our creative inspirations, spiritual guidance and peak experiences. Through theta wave meditation, we can ope n our Third Eye and access the delta waves that unite us with Universal Energy and Cosmic Consciousness.
The Theta state is where intuition comes, instantaneous healings occur and accelerated learning occurs. Einstein trained himself to spend many hours in that state. It is where you feel one with All.
The Beautiful Blue Star Meditation is a powerful inducer of theta brain waves. The sound that is used in this meditation is emitted by a star, billions of miles away from our Solar System. This star is a beautiful Blue White Giant. It is highly evolved and vastly intelligent being that continually emits some of the most powerful theta waves in the universe.
In ancient times, Taoist shamans used the sounds coming from the stars in order to attune their consciousness to the gateways that line the universe.
When one uses this meditation, you will soon enter into a reproducible theta state. I use this meditation almost daily for this very purpose. Boosting theta brain waves can improve your health by making you feel younger, giving you more energy, and improving uour immune system. Each of the “slower brain waves” produce wonderful health benefits.
A common benefit to increasing the amount of slow brain waves [i.e. alpha, theta, delta] in your brain is feeling deeply relaxed. Scientists have found that when the brain is in slower brain wave states [like alpha and theta], it produces specific hormones and “neuropeptides.” These hormones and neuropeptides that are produced have been linked to boosted memory, creativity, and ability to learn.
Each time you lower the baseline frequency of your brain waves, the more you will feel the healthy anti-stress, anti-aging hormones and neuropeptides. These naturally boost your overall level of relaxation and well-being. What the slower brain waves also do is increase the amount of beneficial neurotransmitters and endorphins in the brain. For example: using alpha and theta brain waves will increase your overall level of relaxation by increasing the production of serotonin in the brain. Serotonin is an extremely helpful neurotransmitter that has been linked to both mental and physical relaxation. Also, certain slower brainwave frequencies produce endorphins which make us feel good - like a “natural high.”
We hope that you will enjoy this new meditation.
